Travel with Friends on Samburu on January 9!

Come travel with Friends of Samburu to Kenya, January 9-26, 2026. This charity is Christ-centered and is a witness to His love. Its focus is on improving the lives of the Samburu children and their families. During this trip, we’ll support projects in education, healthcare, fresh water, and poverty alleviation.‍All participants must be fully committed by November 1. New Table Talks Topic: Financial Peace

‍Beginning October 12, Tim Groudle and Roland Zavala will lead a class series on “Financial Peace.” The first session will serve as an introduction to the course, including an overview of materials and a Q&A. The second session will follow on October 19, diving deeper into the content. We hope you join us!

FCA has a charity golf tournament on October 20!

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Annual Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, October 20 at the Tour 18 Golf Club in Humble. FCA works through schools to spread the gospel message of Christ to coaches and middle/high school youth in the area. Samburu Fall Charity Garage Sale starts on October 23!

Make a meaningful difference by donating your gently used items to the Friends of Samburu Fall Charity Garage Sale! We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help set up on Thursday morning (October 23) and tear down on Saturday afternoon (October 25). Volunteers are also needed to help run the sale, greet shoppers, make lunches, or buy water for our hardworking team. All money raised will help support vital projects in Samburu, Kenya - including a new Sunday School classroom (coming 2026!) and clean water access for the Umoja Uaso village. Head, Heart and Hands: Leadership on October 23!

Join us in the Sanctuary for our next session on Thursday, October 23, from 7-8:30 PM. Ken Anderson will lead an engaging discussion on leadership development and team leadership. The evening will also include small group discussions for deeper connection and conversation.
