Volunteer for the Disaster Relief team!

We are looking for volunteers to join our Disaster Relief team and help make a difference in our community. Volunteer opportunities include pre-event checks, food and kitchen preparation, home flood recovery, communications support, and organizing donations. Donate eyeglasses and other supplies to Peru Mission Trip!

Give the gift of sight and donate glasses to our Peru Mission Team. We're collecting eyeglasses, sunglasses, kid glasses, all glasses! Donations are also needed for: travel-size shampoo, toothpaste/toothbrushes, deodorant, disposable razors, moisturizer, Kleenex, nail clippers, and costume jewelry. Donations can be dropped off in Mark Smith’s office during normal office hours. Donations are needed by July 19.

Join First Pres for Trivia on June 24!

Join us for our next community event, Trivia Night, on Wednesday, June 24 from 6-8 PM! We’ll gather together for dinner, fellowship, and a fun evening of 2–4 rounds of trivia featuring categories like Star Wars, Bible trivia, First Pres facts, and more.

First Pres is partnering with HAAM for their Sneakerdoodle's Shoe Drive

As a covenant partner church supporting HAAM, we are excited to participate in their HISD “Sneakerdoodles” campaign to help provide new shoes for students in Kinder-12th grade. Donations can be brought to church beginning June 12-August 3. We’ll deliver them to HAAM for distribution. Thank you for helping us make a difference in the lives of local students and families!

VBS 2026 registration is open!

Join us for VBS 2026 from July 13–17 for an exciting week of fun, faith, and adventure! This year’s theme, Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God, will take kids on a vibrant journey through God’s creation with engaging activities, music, and lessons. VBS will run from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM each day (please note our new ending time). Incoming Kindergarten through 5th grade students are welcome to join. We can’t wait to see you there!

Men's Life Worship at First Pres.

All men of all ages are invited to join us for Men’s Saturday Worship on May 9 from 8–9 AM. We'll continue meeting for worship on the second Saturday of each month. A light breakfast will be provided afterward—we’d love to see you there!
