Worship is the act of offering praise and honor to God when his Word is proclaimed and his people respond. While most of us probably think first of Sunday morning worship at church, worship can take place in many different settings, including at home with individual families. Developing the practice of weekly family worship helps your family pause during the week and remember who you are in Christ and what you’re meant to be doing. It’s a simple way to engage your whole family with the Bible on regular basis and it can open the door to conversations with your children about their spiritual lives.
What to do:
· Commit to this practice for one month (you can extend the practice later if you choose)
· Choose a time that works for everyone. Put it on everyone’s calendar.*
· Decide where your family will gather; a designated spot helps develop the habit
